We've been bringing our pets to Dr. Schreiber for many years, and we were delighted to discover that he remained in the area and started his own practice. Dr.Schrieber is the best vet. I have been seeing hom for over 10 years. He is so gentle and great with any fur baby or family member you may have. He is awesome! And his prices are not as bad as most vets. The staff is also extremely good. I recommend Schrieber animal hospital.

I had such a great experience here. From the front desk to the vet tech to the doctor, everyone was kind, professional, and thorough.Dr Schreiber took his time, listened carefully in multiple areas, and made me feel completely confident in his assessment. My dog loved him! The clinic itself felt clean and well cared for. The prices were transparent and reasonable. I left feeling relieved and grateful to have found such a trustworthy place for my dog. With all of the vet clinics to choose from in this area, I’m so happy I chose this one. Highly recommend.

Sure enough we ended up in Mobile emergency clinic on Sunday because my dog was in heart failure , his lungs were full of fluid… my dog died.
I do trust Dr. Schreiber to take care of my animals because he cares 🙏

I can't say enough about how exceptional Dr. Schreiber is with our labs and bunnies. What sets him apart is his genuine dedication to finding solutions. He is a brilliant surgeon, compassionate when we need to make hard choices, and it's evident he genuinely loves all animals! He takes the time to conduct detailed exams and explains options clearly. Dr. Schreiber was our vet when we took our dogs to Dykes Veterinary Clinic. When he opened his own practice, we knew without hesitation that we had to follow him. He provided excellent care for Linus and Lucy previously and we were confident that he would continue to do so. His new office is bright, big and clean and his staff is exceptional. You can’t go wrong in entrusting your pet’s care to him.

We had an appt for a quality of life assessment for our beloved cocker spaniel, Pippa. She is 14 and we have some excellent time with her. Dr. Schreibert yesterday. He gave us so much of his time. He helped us understand Pippa’s issues. So we decided to let her go on Monday….💕
Love this clinic. My dog was in trouble, miserable, scratching hair off, not sleeping good, bad allergies. She turned around quickly after first visit. I look forward to future care from the whole staff.
Swapped all my fur babies over and it was a super easy process. Took one of my pups to get spayed and they were all so friendly and attentive to her needs. Dr. Schreiber literally got on the floor and played with her to make her feel comfortable!
Dr Schreiber and his team are amazing even with the hardest to manage pets! He definitely impressed me how well he can get along with my Belgian Malinois ( he was seen by Dr Schreiber while he was at Dykes). Awesome!!! My toy poodle died in my arms yesterday. Everyone was so kind, sweet, most caring considerate loving people. The Dr. Schreiber was the most thoughtful and helpful. Every way he could, and above all else he was honest and he knows what he’s talking about. I Thank God for him and his staff and if you want a good vet that will take care of your pet, that you love and you when you’re grieving this is the office Dr. Schreiber’s. He would do everything over and above any veterinarian would do. He has a good heart. You can tell it’s not about the money. He cares a great deal for your pet and you first. What an amazing vet and staff. We can’t say enough about Schreiber veterinary hospital. Dr Schreiber is so good and very knowledgeable and makes sure you understand.
I was very familiar with Dr. Schreiber from Dykes Veterinary where he took care of our Jackson when he was close to passing but after emergency surgery, gave us another 3 years with him. So when Gunner, our 5# Yorkie, was not eating and very lethargic, I called Dr. Schreiber’s office for an appointment. He was able to be seen that morning. His office staff is just as kind and caring as he! After some tests to determine the issue we were sent home with the proper meds, suggestions on what to feed him. (Yorkies are notoriously picky eaters). I will never take a pet of mine to any other veterinarian, he is the absolute BEST!
We absolutely love this veterinarian clinic! Dr. schreiber was so attentive to our animals, taking time to get to know them and talking to them. He was through and answered all our questions and concerns. The staff were very kind and smiling, they all seemed to love their jobs! We are so glad we found this place!

We just moved to the area from south Florida I always heard Disney was the happiest place on earth. I'm here to tell you the Dr. and everyone here were so nice and friendly I have to change my mind. We are new to this clinic as we are snowboarding here in Gulf Shores. Dr. Schreiber impressed us in all ways. First, he got down on our dog’s level and established rapport with him first. When it came to explaining his medical issues, Dr. Schreiber was thorough and didn’t talk over our heads or dumb it down. All of the staff were welcoming and treated our beloved Vito with great kindness.

This week our spotlight is on Warehouse Bakery and Donuts in Fairhope! This local business is truly exceptional, and if you've never had the pleasure of eating here before, you're missing out! They're highly rated, and just truly a great place to have breakfast, brunch, coffee or donuts. Or all of the above!

Here is the story of this business and the owner, Jennifer Haffner:
"Jennifer Haffner fell in love with baking the moment she was tall enough to see over the kitchen countertop.
Growing up in Fayetteville, Arkansas, Haffner spent hours in the kitchen with her family. It was here that she began piecing together culinary creations, some of which have evolved over 30 years – like her signature Kitchen Sink cookie. As a teenager, she chose cooking as her profession and dreamed of one day owning her own restaurant.
Haffner moved to Fairhope in 1998 after she and her husband bought a piece of property in the area. As a stay-at-home mom, she was limited in her abilities to start her own business. However, she stayed heavily involved with the restaurant industry.
She worked at Jesse's restaurant in Magnolia springs, starting as a hostess before becoming a bartender and eventually the head pastry chef. After Jesse's, she spent about three months frying chicken at the deli located inside of Greers’ Market in Fairhope. In 2012, Haffner helped open and operate Sweet Olive, a restaurant located inside the Windmill Market in Fairhope.
Today, Haffner is the owner of Warehouse Bakery & Donuts.
With the help of local entrepreneur Will Carlton, she opened Warehouse for business in 2015. She created an eclectic menu, with items like the infamous Squeelin’ Pig breakfast biscuit, Pimento Cheese BLT and the Buddha Bowl (check out the menu page).
And don’t forget Haffner’s freshly made pastry creations on display behind the class case: specialty desserts, doughnuts, cupcakes, cakes, cookies – you get the picture.
